Chavant Industrial Styling & Sculpting Clays
|
Professional Plasteline : This modeling compound is ideal for the professional sculptor and all school levels. Plasteline is soft, smooth, permanently plastic, reusable and does not require heating. Contains sulphur.
CM-50 : This medium-hard formulation is the softest of the styling clays. Excellent adhesion and consistency for producing accurate models. Billets now deaired. Contain sulphur.
J-525 : This hard formulation provides a slightly harder modeling compound than the CM-50. This results in better edge definition and surface detail. Billets are now deaired. Contain sulphur.
J-88 : This extremely hard sculpting clay is often carved where high detail applications are required. Contains sulphur.
**This material will be discontinued once our current inventory is depleted.** Please contact customer service for current inventory levels.
CM-70 : This extra hard styling clay is the hardest of the sulphur-type clays. Popular throughout the automotive industry where surface detail and finish are critical. Contain sulphur.
Non-Sulphurated Plasteline (NSP) : This modeling clay is similar in performance to the Professional Plasteline except for the fact that it does not contain any sulphur which will minimize curing inhibition when molding with silicone rubbers. The soft formulation can cause some cure inhibition with urethanes.
 | This item is also featured in our HobbyCast website, available for immediate pricing and ordering. |
Le Beau Touche : This clay is an extremely smooth plasteline that does not contain sulphur. Often characterized as having the feel of a water-base clay. Also available in higher melting point formulation.
P-40 : This sulphur-free styling clay is the hardest available. The benefits of using this clay are excellent edge definition and compatibility with silicone rubbers.
All clay is sold in full billets. Please see the net weight for the size of each billet.
All highlighted clays will be discontinued when current inventory is depleted.
