Huntsman Advanced Materials’ line of seamless modeling pastes
and syntactic clay was created to meet the unique needs of those doing very large tooling, especially those in the aerospace, marine, and automotive industries. RenPaste seamless modeling pastes are machined dispensed, 2-part epoxy pastes that are applied to an undersized substructure (usually made of foam boards) enabling the toolmaker to achieve a high quality surface finish without the heavy weight, glue lines, and high costs associated with adhering multiple tooling boards together.
