Used for locating working points in milling and vertical machines, drill
presses, etc. Pointer is spring tensioned so it is brought into perfect alignment with machine spindle when guided to eccentric work. A screw in back of shank controls tension on ball of pointer. Point is protected by retracting into body when not in use.
