Starrett Lock-Joint Transfer Calipers
|

Three outstanding features which contribute to the versatility of these Starrett Calipers are; a transfer arm, fine-adjustment screw and a lock joint. The transfer arm enables measurements to be transferred from the insides of chambered cavities or over flanges where it is necessary to move the legs after the measurement has been set. The adjusting screw permits close adjustments for fine measurements. The material used to produce these calipers is a high-grade steel and the legs are shaped to provide good manageability during measurement adjustments. The capacities of these calipers are generally 1/3 greater than the given leg size.
